Hi Everyone,

It's only out of complete fairness and concern for our upmost enjoyment that this memorial ride be postponed. Jerry would have wanted it this way too. He REALLY hated bumpy trails, and I can just hear him saying "What the heck, man, this, uh, yeah, this kinda sucks!" Well, it is in his memory that we ride, and it is also in his memory that we ride good trails for him!!

The forecast looks cold & white, but it just doesn't look promising for the trails to set up for all 22 of us to enjoy them to the fullest. February brings Valentines day for the ladies, and usually a good wintry pattern for us sledders, so do your snow dance!!

So, that all said, we have officially postponed the trip to February 12th at 9am. Same everything else, just tell the boss that you need to switch Fridays. I'm sure an email or two may be fired out at you that week again just reiterating a few final details, but until then, think snow, and with some help from ol' man winter, we'll ride on the 12th.

Have a great couple of weeks!!

Some of you are asking...

As of right now, the weather patterns should change for a decent days worth of riding, so it's still on! We will assess the TRAIL conditions on Wednesday 1/27 however to make a final executive decision!! Keep checking THIS website...

OK, it's official. Thank you to all of you that submitted your feedback. Rod and I have spent the needed time on this, and based on your feedback, and what we thought was the best for the majority of the group, we have made a decision. The 1st Annual Jerry Pell Memorial Ride to Remember will be held on Friday, January 29th. We will meet at 9am at Club 37 just north of Baldwin. We will leave as a group promptly at 9:30, so please be ready to ride- gassed up, suited up, and good to go at that time!!

We will be pairing up everyone with a "buddy" depending on the size of the group for safety reasons. This will ensure that no one gets left behind or experiences a break-down alone. Details will be determined the morning of the Ride.

Just prior to leaving, we will gather for a brief bit of instruction & direction, followed by a moment of silence to remember Jerry, and a prayer blessing our trip. From that point let's remember that this is a ride- NOT A RACE- to remember, respect, & honor Jerry; our Father, our Brother, our Uncle, our Co-worker, and our Friend. It is in his memory that this Ride has come together.

IMPORTANT: In order to make a reservation for lunch, and to make an accurate generalization of how many of us there will be, I will need to have an RSVP back from each one of you, (there are 24 of us!!) so please reply back to this with a yes or no by Wednesday 1/20. THANK YOU!!

I should mention too that in the event that the weather pattern that we are currently experiencing holds out and we don't get enough snow to make for a fun Ride, we will postone the Ride 2 weeks to February 12th, with all the same information as above. We will assess the trail conditions Wednesday 1/27 and send an email to that effect if needed.

Now, THINK SNOW, enjoy your next two weeks, and we'll see you at the trails!!
